Selecting a Site for the Gateway

Observe the following requirements when choosing a site

for your gateway:

 Do not expose the gateway device to moisture or water.

 The power supply for the gateway should be located

near the unit and should be easily accessible.

 The site should provide for easy access to the ports on

the gateway. This will make it easy for you to connect

and disconnect cables, as well as view the gateway’s

LEDs.
